In my column last week, we asked, "How difficult do you think it is to recognize your department is in a mess of your own doing?"
Forty percent of respondents said "Difficult," while the remaining 60 percent were evenly split between "Extremely difficult," "Only slightly difficult," and "Not difficult at all."
Then, we asked, "Once you recognize it, how difficult do you think it would be to fix a mess of your own doing?"
Sixty percent thought it is "Difficult," 20 percent said "Easy," and 20 percent said "Very difficult."
