Mondi sells German containerboard mill

LONDON (From Alliance News) -- Anglo-South African paper and packaging company Mondi PLC on Thursday said it has struck a deal to sell its Raubling containerboard mill in Germany.

The FTSE 100-listed company said it has signed a deal to sell its operations in Raubling to Heinzel Group, the German paper company, for EUR 25.0 million on a debt and cash free basis.

Mondi said the deal is expected to complete by the end of the year and will allow it to focus on its core containerboard operations.
