After 9 years as CEO of Ilim Timber Bavaria GmbH and Ilim Nordic Timber GmbH & Co. KG, Carsten Doehring hands over his functions to Michael Liche and leaves the group.
From now on Michael Liche will lead the companies located in Wismar and Landsberg am Lech. He joined the Ilim Timber group in 2012, at first establishing the Controlling department and reporting structures for the HQ in St. Petersburg. In January 2018, Michael Liche was promoted to Chief Operation Officer (COO).
Ilim Timber is one of the world's top sawn timber producers. The company's production facilities are located in Eastern Siberia as well as in the northern and southern regions of Germany.
