GRENADA, Miss. (From news reports) - Longtime business Hankins Timbers is expanding in Grenada County and creating 43 new jobs.
Company executives, Gov. Tate Reeves and Grenada County officials announced the $12.9 million investment on Tuesday.
The company is expanding its operations with a new sawmill at the former Louisiana Pacific site.
The new jobs will have an annual average salary of $51,000.
