FINLAND (News release) -- We are happy announce the brand name Papira® by Stora Enso of our paper fiber-based and fully paper-recyclable cellulose foam for protective and cushioning material in packaging. The lightweight and shock absorbing properties make Papira an especially attractive alternative for protective packaging applications. It is also a cutting-edge material created for a circular bioeconomy.
In 2020, we announced our investment in a pilot plant for producing Papira. We are now advancing with our pilot to test and validate our material with customers. Award-winning Papira communicates that our protective packaging foam is made from paper fibers, and that it is purposefully designed for recycling in any paper stream.
