KAUKAUNA, Wisc. (From news reports) -- Employees of a Kaukauna mill are being credited with helping put out a fire at the mill.

Crews were called to the Ahlstrom-Munksjö Thilmany Mill shortly before 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov, 23.

The fire was found near a paper machine and contained to the machine. A small fire was also found in the basement and quickly extinguished.

Firefighters say the quick actions of the employees helped knock down the fire and prevent further spread.

No one was hurt, and damage estimates are minimal. The mill was able to resume normal operations.
