In my column last week, we asked "How would you describe the difference between "unique" and "weird"?"
Responses:
>Unique is to genuinely try/do something differently for betterment with heart while weird is intentional & tactful show off to look different for being just noticed.
>I am usually unique - if I am not careful I know I can be seen to be weird. I've been an example of weird but I'm not sharing them with the paper industry / client base!!!
Then we asked, "Can you give a (printable!) example of unique or weird? Please label your contribution!"
Response:
>During Indian Pulp & Paper Technical Association (IPPTA) conferences some members wear their organization's unique uniforms while few wear weird branded cloths just to get notices.
