In my column last week, our survey asked, "How difficult is it to forecast an energy budget for 2016?"

Two-thirds replied "Extremely difficult," and the rest replied "Moderately difficult."

Then we asked, "Which energy source will be the hardest to forecast for 2016?"

All respondents replied "Transportation fuels," two-third replied "Purchased Electricity," a third replied "Oil," and a third replied "Coal."
