HUNGARY -- Hygiene paper producer Sofidel Group has acquired tissue paper converter Forest Papir Kft based in Piszke, near Budapest.

Forest Papir Kft has a total converting capacity of 30,000 metric tons and employs 200 workers at its Piszke plant. The acquisition gives Sofidel entry to new markets in eastern Europe.
