JAKARTA, Indonesia (From the Jakarta Globe) -- Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper, or RAPP, Indonesian subsidiary of global pulp and paper industry leader Asia Pacific Resources International, APRIL, was named an authorized economic operator by the World Customs Organization.

Deputy Finance Minister Mardiasmo gave the authorized economic operator (AEO) certificate to RAPP at the "Indonesian Trusted Partners in Securing International Trade and Logistics Supply" symposium in Jakarta on Tuesday (21/02).

The certification, which has been recognized and implemented by 160 countries to ease customs procedures, is a recognition that a company has been approved by a national customs administration as complying with the WCO supply chain security standards.
