OXFORD, Ohio -- Steve Voorhees, chief executive officer of WestRock, will be the keynote speaker for the Miami University Paper Science and Engineering Foundation's 2019 Student Recognition Banquet on April 9, 2019.

As CEO of WestRock predecessor RockTenn, Mr. Voorhees oversaw the merger with MeadWestvaco in 2015 to form WestRock, and also engineered the 2018 acquisition of KapStone Paper to make one of the world's largest paper companies with $15 billion in annual revenue, 50,000 employees in 30 countries, and over 320 company locations worldwide.
