STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (From news reports) -- Firefighters responded to a blaze that ignited outside a Pratt paper mill on Victory Boulevard in Travis on Sunday afternoon.
An FDNY spokesman said bundles of paper were on fire and were being extinguished by firefighters from Engine 168 and Ladder 86 at about 3:20 p.m. in front of 4435 Victory Blvd., which is the address for Visy Paper New York, a paper recycling mill. No injuries have been reported.
